Project: Landscape a Back Yard
Dave Dundas is the nicest and most honest man I have ever worked with. We were going to get three quotes for our project but after meeting with Dave, we decided to go with him. We gave Dave our budget and told him what we wanted. He knew exactly what we were saying and enhanced it by about a thousand. Rather than looking at our pathetic yard for another summer, we decided to go drought tolerant but still wanted lots of color. Dave's design cut our lawn by two thirds and he added a flagstone walkway with decomposed granite and tons of different color perennials along with fruit trees. Drought tolerant never looked so beautiful. Dave has a great crew who installed a drip system in all the plants, pots and fruit trees, LED lighting and a stone retaining wall along a slope. They arrived every day on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. We can't wait to have Dave come back and do the front yard. We know he will make it as spectacular as the back . Obviously, we highly recommend Dave.

Project: Install Sod
Dave told me up front he wanted to do the job right. He did the job right and honored his estimate. They fixed the sprinkler system before installing the sod. His employee Valentin did a great job and went beyond what I expected. Valentin added a border that was not originally discussed and was thorough with the cleanup. I would recommend Rainbow Landscape and will use them again for another landscaping project in the future.

I met with 3 landscapers including Rainbow for quotes on sodding and enhancing the automatic sprinkler system at my mom's home. Rainbow gave the most thorough quote and there price was the same as the other landscapers that were bidding less work. I selected Rainbow and their work exceeded my expectations. The delivered a beautiful backyard and a perfectly installed sprinkler system to keep the backyard green! The workers cleaned up after themselves without me saying a word. Everything was done right the first time. I am so happy with my choice and would highly recommend the.

Project: Plan and Install Landscape Lighting We used Rainbow Landscape (Dave Dundas) to redo a 10 year old full yard landscape lighting plan. Our fixtures were old and in disrepair, but our underground wiring was working perfectly. Dave was great to work with. He took the time to really understand what we were trying to achieve and found the most effective and cost efficient way to achieve it. His quote was extremely competitive and he was even able to save us several hundreds of dollars by using what we had that was working. Several other contractors were unwilling to even use our exixting wiring, which would have cost us several hundreds more. Would highly recommend Dave.

Project: Install or Replace Foundation Drains Quite truthfully the most honest, best, most reasonable contractor I have hired in years. My drainage issue was complicated and included safety issues. David Dundas understood what was needed and then supervised his crew in providing the fixes needed. He gave a very reasonable bid and brought the project in for what he bid it for. He was honest, kind and easy to work with. I recommend him highly.

Project: Grade or Reslope Grounds for Landscaping Dave provided the best design for my landscape drainage project to correct a severe soil erosion situation. It was also the low bid of 3 others by a substantial amount. The work was closely supervised by Dave who was available to handle my and my wife's questions and also make minor modifications where needed. The job was completed on time. The new drainage system worked very good during the last heavy rain. Dave and his crew were very easy to work with.

My project was fairly extensive. My home is 20 years old, and had drainage and irrigation problems, a deteriorating bank, and multiple landscaping issues. I basically wanted everything fixed, plus I wanted to significantly upgrade the look of my yard (front, back and side). Dave Dundas put a lot of effort into really getting an understanding of the final outcome I wanted. His bid was not the lowest, but it was by far the most complete, and there were no hidden costs. Dave's very creative, and has a solid team that includes experts in drainage and irrigation, as well as hardscape. They did an excellent job.
